Kristie Mitchell, chief marketing officer for Biscuitville Fresh Southern, has been named one of the nation’s Top Women in Marketing for 2026 by Ragan Communications. The national award will be presented to Mitchell during an awards luncheon on October 22 in New York City.
“For more than a decade, Kristie Mitchell has focused her talent and heart on making sure our guests experience the Biscuitville brand in a way that is true to our company’s core values,” said Kathie Niven, president and CEO of Biscuitville. “We are thrilled to celebrate this well-deserved national recognition of Kristie’s leadership, innovation, and stewardship of the Biscuitville brand. Congratulations, Kristie!”
Ragan’s judges evaluated Mitchell’s leadership, contributions, and accomplishments as Biscuitville’s chief marketing officer before selecting her as a winner in the Experiential and Brand Experience Leader category.
Mitchell joined Greensboro-based Biscuitville in 2015 and co-led the company’s comprehensive rebranding across restaurant remodels, rebuilds, and new locations. She was named vice president of brand and marketing in 2018 and promoted to chief marketing officer in December 2023.
As a member of the company’s leadership team, Mitchell oversees a department responsible for media, advertising, point-of-purchase materials, public relations, social media, the company’s website, consumer analytics, digital omnichannel initiatives, and all aspects of design.
